Accredited by the New York State Board of Regents, Middletown High School is recognized as a comprehensive secondary school that provides all courses required for graduation by the State of New York.
Honors and accelerated college credit courses are available to high schoolers and students have the ability to choose from more than 120 tuition-free college course credits during their high school experience.
In addition, the high school offers several academic Academies. For instance, ninth-graders may take part in Academy of Finance (AOF), Academy of Engineering, Academy of Health Sciences, and the Academy of Information Technology (AOIT), and the nationally recognized Project Lead The Way (PLTW) program. Scholars also have the opportunity to participate in our Freshman Academy in grades 9. The Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) program is also offered. Fine arts, athletics, and enrichment after-school programs, in addition to clubs and intramurals, are also offered to high school scholars.
